Urban Beekeeping: Opening a Beehive
Recently I had the privilege to witness the opening of a beehive by my good friend, Joe Provenzano, in Annanndale, Virginia. Joe has been raising bees in his backyard for a few years and hopes to eventually harvest some honey. These particular bees are a mix of Italian and Carniolan.
