It's a nice change of pace getting to take headshots for adults. Unlike many of the kids that I photograph, my adult clients are not inherently comfortable in front of a camera. I try to immediately establish a good rapport with clients to help ease some of that wariness. The more relaxed a client feels, the more flattering and natural-looking the headshots turn out. For author Jason Rodriguez, I liked the way the triangles in his sweater were reflected in the triangular patterns of the sculpture behind him. It also seemed to evoke a futuristic vibe that matched the theme of his upcoming novel.
