Wedding Photography in Washington DC

In early August I photographed a French/Indian/American wedding at Heritage India (yes, the restaurant) in Washington DC. It was an unusual setting and the vibe throughout the day was relaxed, fun, and rowdy. The bride and groom chose to forgo many cheesy wedding traditions (formal wedding party, bouquet toss, garter toss) that made this wedding feel very imaginative and personal. My favorite moment was when the bride and groom exchanged heartfelt vows while surrounded, in a circle, by loved ones.
